Meet Dr. Evan B. Kelner
As a child, Dr. Evan Kelner accompanied his grandmother to the podiatrist’s office because she had problems with her feet due to diabetes. Although he didn’t understand the treatments he was watching, he never forgot the experience and his interest in podiatry began. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College in 1987 he attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Kelner returned to New Jersey for his residency at the Lyons VA Medical Center. He opened his practice in 1993 in his home town of Ocean Township and shortly after that he opened his second office in Toms River.
Dr. Kelner is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is on staff at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Runnells Specialized Hospital. He has been recognized several times as one of America’s Top Podiatrists by Consumers Research Council of America. He resides in East Brunswick with his wife and two children.
When Dr. Kelner is not caring for patients he enjoys playing golf, coaching youth basketball, and his involvement in religious-affiliated activities.
